Event Information
Aid stations will be located near the mile markers listed below.
There will be water and Gatorade Electrolytes (Orange Flavor) at all aid stations.
Miles: 1.9, 4.1, 5.9, 7.7, 9.5, 11.2, and 12
An Energy Gel will be provided on the half-marathon course at aid station: Mile 9.5
Portable restrooms will be at each aid station.
Newly Added: Runners that wish to have special needs items and/or clothes waiting for them at the finish line, may drop these items off at the Race Expo on Friday, 11/14 at the Savannah Convention Center at the Gear Check location only.
After picking up your BIB, look for the area marked GEAR CHECK and follow the bag drop instructions.
Your bag will be taken to the finish line for retrieval after the race at the GEAR CHECK tent.
You will enter the tent and find your bag in the numbered space that corresponds with your BIB #.
NOTE: There is no bag drop at the race start. If you are checking a bag, you must drop it at the race expo on Friday.
Fanny packs, small bags, and hydration packs are allowed on course.
For security, they are subject to being searched and/or removed.
All participants are expected to be able to complete the Half Marathon course in 3 hours and 30 minutes, i.e. 16-minute mile.
The time count begins after the start of the last wave of runners. Runners who are unable to maintain an 16-minute pace, although encouraged to complete the race, will be asked to remain out of previously-closed traffic lanes and will be asked to move to the side and obey regular traffic laws. The Highway will be reopened to traffic on a “rolling basis” determined by that pace.
The Finish Line will stay open for runners and spectators until 12:00 PM. Aid stations, official finishing times, commemorative medallions, and post-race refreshments will only be available to runners who maintain a 3 hours and 30 minute pace or below.
Overall Award Medals will be available for the top 3 male, female, and non-binary winners.
Age Division awards are given to the top 3 male, female, and non-binary finishers.
Age categories: 19 & Under, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74, 75 - 79, 80+
